Can a cross really represent something good? YES
God is Love and He desires for you to enjoy a relationship with Him for all time. Jesus told His followers in the Bible, in John 14:1-6, that He was going to prepare a place for them, and that He was going return for them. It is His longing that we all might know Him and live with Him. John 14:1-6; Romans 5:8; 2 Peter 3:9
The bad news is that God is also a Holy God, a Perfect God, sinless, and He can not tolerate sin, disobedience, rebellion, something we are all guilty of. And since we all have sinned, we are already condemned and deserving of Hell. Yes it is a real place that was intended for the devil and his followers, but all who reject Jesus will spend eternity there as well. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; John 3:18; Ephesians 2:1-3; Revelation 20:15; Revelation 21:8
The Good news is that if we recognize our sin, repent (turn from our dead end selfish ways), and turn to Jesus and receive Him, trusting in Him(trusting in the fact that He took our sin and punishment upon Himself, willingly died on the cross in our place, was buried and physically rose again on the third day, and no more work needs to be done!) for our salvation, receiving His gift of forgiveness and His very life, then we are saved from eternal Hell, and will live with Jesus for all eternity. John 3:16; John 1:12; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Revelation 21:1-7
Do you want to receive forgiveness now? Do you want to begin to enjoy Life now and for all eternity, avoiding our deserved destiny of a literal Hell, not just”hell on earth” as some people propose?
Then you need to consider your desperate state of being lost and in need of a Savior, and believe/pray something like this:
My God, I am a sinner, desperately lost, and destined for Hell. But I now believe that Jesus, you came from Heaven to earth, to take my sin, my punishment upon yourself, and that you paid the penalty for my sin, by dying on the cross, and you were buried, and praise God, you rose again, and now are preparing a place for those who follow you. I now ask for forgiveness and receive the perfect gift of you into my life. Save me, cleanse me, use me!
Thank you Jesus!
